The Virtual University is...

• Distance Learning for Global Citizens
• Continuing Education for the LWR Speakers Bureau and Other Friends
• Professional Development for Lutheran Clergy and Lay Leaders

Each course has three parts:

• Eight monthly, hour-long virtual classes  (view last year's 2007-2008 classes)
• Background reading materials
• And the most important aspect: YOU, along with a nation-wide student body

Attend online or via toll-free conference call.  (How does this work?)

Needed:  Virtual U House Party Hosts Turn your living room, student center or fellowship hall into a global classroom. It’s easy. All you need are a few inquisitive citizens, a place to meet, and a computer or phone with a speaker function. OK, and maybe doughnuts. For more information write to university@lwr.org or select the house party option when you register for class.
