Send a postcard to the President

Join Lutheran World Relief and the Save Darfur Coalition as we speak up for peace in Sudan. Sign an e-postcard to President Obama asking him to make Sudan a top priority of his administration. The “Be a Voice For Darfur” campaign is a collective effort of dozens of Save Darfur Coalition members and our aim is to send one million postcards to our new president by April. Lutheran World Relief encourages you to spread the word about the campaign in your congregation and community.

As a candidate, you promised “unstinting resolve” to end the violence in Darfur. I urge you to keep that promise by making peace in Darfur and all of Sudan a priority from day one of your term to achieve:

• Protection of civilians from violence, starvation and disease
• Sustainable peace for all Sudan and full implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
• Justice for victims and accountability for perpetrators
