LWR's Latin America program currently supports efforts in six countries:El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Bolivia and Colombia.
Over the next few years, LWR will focus on alleviating poverty and promoting justice in these countries.

With whom does LWR work in Latin America?
Primarily:
Small farmer and indigenous families, communities, and organizations in poor isolated, rural areas of Peru and Bolivia.
Displaced and other vulnerable persons in Colombia.
Small farmer families, communities and organization, as well as agricultural workers in poor rural areas of Central America.
Focus Areas:
- Small farmers' access to land and local, regional and international markets
- Agro-ecological production methods
- Disaster prevention
- Collaboration with municipal governments
- Promotion of peace and conflict resolution
