Rogath Mtema wakes up every morning at 5 a.m. to care for her family and the family’s coffee farm. Rogath finishes her work on the farm at about 4 p.m. in time to prepare supper, feed the family’s cows and goats and bathe the children. "Despite working so many hours, I don’t see anything for it," says Rogath. "The price they pay me [in the conventional coffee market] is not enough to care for the coffee, let alone take care of my family."
