Godnice Lema, mother of four, spends eight to 10 hours a day caring for the coffee plants on her family’s 1.5-acre coffee farm in Tanzania. Because of dropping coffee prices, Godnice's husband Asante took a second job to earn enough money to pay his children's school fees. The LWR Coffee Project partners with coffee farmers like the Lemas to provide a fair price for farmers and quality coffee for Lutherans.
